The Nine Stages Of Olaplex
There are nine stages within the Olaplex system. Stages 1 and 2 are done in the salon. You can add Olaplex 1 and 2 onto your color service, or you can do it as a stand allow in-salon treatment service. Olaplex 1 and 2 will help to keep the integrity of the hair intact when used during chemical services. Stages 0, 3, 4,5,6,7, and 8 are all part of the Olaplex at-home haircare system. How to use Olaplex No. 0
Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment
The first product in this guide on How to use Olaplex at home is the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment. This treatment is to be used before you shampoo and condition your hair.
What it is Olaplex No. 0:
The Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment is an intensive treatment that primes that hair for deeper repair. This product helps to rebuild the strength of your hair, along with helping to prevent further damage, split ends, and breakage.
How to use Olaplex No. 0:
Step 1: Use the treatment on dry hair. Fully saturate each section of your hair with the treatment.
Step 2: Leave No. 0 on your hair for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Do not rinse off. Apply No. 3 all over the hair evenly with No. 0 still in your hair.
Step 4: Let No. 3 process in your hair for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Wash the treatments out of your hair. Then Shampoo and condition your hair.
How to use Olaplex No. 3
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector
Our second product within this guide on How to use Olaplex at home is the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector. Olaplex No. 3 can be used in combination with Olaplex No. 0, or it can be used alone. When using Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector treatment by itself, use the application steps listed below:
Step 1: When applying the treatment, ensure you are applying it to unwashed, dampened hair.
Step 2: Apply a generous amount of the product from the roots to the ends of your hair. Then comb the product through.
Step 3: Let No. 3 process in your hair for 10 minutes or more.
Step 4: Follow up after washing the treatment out with your Shampoo and condition.
How to use Olaplex No. 3 in combination with Olaplex No. 0:
If you have used Olaplex No. 0 and are now following up with Olaplex No. 3, use the application steps provided below:
Step 1: Start off with a quarter-size amount of product from Olaplex No. 3. Use the product to saturate your hair from the middle to the ends. After that is done, you can use the excess product on your hands and run it through your roots.
Step 2: Ensuring that the combination of Olaplex No. 0 and Olaplex No. 3 is saturated thoroughly throughout your hair, leave the combination in your hair for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Lastly, wash out the Olaplex No. 0 and No. 3 combination and follow up with shampoo and conditioner.
How to use Olaplex No. 4
Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo
Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo is the third product in your guide on How to use Olaplex at home.
What is Olaplex No. 4:
Olaplex no. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo is formulated to moisturize the hair, add shine, and make the hair easier to manage. Also, this shampoo helps with split ends, hair breakage, and frizz.
All hair types will love this shampoo it's not only for chemically treated hair. People with virgin hair who are experiencing heat damage or have frizzy hair will see a huge difference while using this product.

How to use Olaplex No. 4:

Olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner
Next in your guide on how to use Olaplex at home is the Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Olaplex No. 5 is one of my favourite products in the Olaplex line. No matter how many conditioners I try, I always end up going back to the Bond Maintenance Conditioner.
What is Olaplex No. 5:
This Bond Maintenance Conditioner is a super-rich conditioner that hydrates the hair, adds shine, helps repair damaged hair and split ends. Furthermore, you will find that Olaplex No. 5 will also help reduce frizz by re-linking the broken bonds of your hair.
How to use Olaplex No. 5:
Step 1: After shampooing your hair. Poor out a dime-sized amount of the product into your hands. If you suffer from a dryer scalp, apply the product to the mid-lengths to the ends of your hair. Use the remaining product and apply it to the roots of your hair. Now for my people with an oily, too, normal scalp, you will want to apply the product to the mid-lengths to the ends of your hair.
Step 2: Once the product is placed into your hair according to your scalp type. Take a wide-tooth comb and gently comb the conditioner through your hair.
Step 3:The product is now combed into your hair. Take a clip and spin your hair up into a bun.
Step 4: Now, leave in the conditioner for 3-5 minutes. Once the time is up, wash the conditioner out.
How to use Olaplex No. 6
Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Crème
Now we are moving on to the styling products in the how to use Olaplex at home guide. Your first Olaplex styling product is the Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Crème. It is also another one of my favourite Olaplex products. The product can be used in various ways and will also last forever.
Furthermore, Olaplex No. 6 is one of my go-to products when blow-drying my client's hair. I love how the styling crème helps to control frizz, makes my client's hair bouncy and adds shine.
What is Olaplex No. 6:
The Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Crème helps to strengthen, moisturize, and speed up your blow-dry time. Also, it helps eliminate frizz for up to 72 hours and protects all hair types. Furthermore, this product is excellent for anyone with coloured or chemically treated hair.
How to use Olaplex No. 6:
Step 1: Make sure you towel dry your hair to remove the excess water.
Step 2: Squeeze out a dime-size amount of product. Depending on your hair density, pour out more or less product if needed.
Step 3: On damp hair, apply the product. If your scalp is more normal to oily, apply the product mid-lengths to the ends of your hair. However, if your scalp is drier, apply the product mid-length to the ends first, then use the excess product and apply it to your roots.
**Pro tip 1: The Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Crème is amazing for my curly hair girls who love to rock their natural curls. If you add this to your curly hair route, it will help with frizz and add great shine.
**Pro tip 2: If you are using this styling crème to give yourself a blowout, make sure you use a small amount of this product, even on curly hair. I find that if you over-apply this product, your hair can feel very heavy and look greasy.
How To Use Olaplex No. 7
Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil
The second to last product in the how to use Olaplex at home guide is the Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil. It is also the last styling product in the Olaplex hair care line. You can use this Bonding Oil on its own, or you can mix it in with your Olaplex No 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Crème.
What is Olaplex No. 7:
Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil is a lightweight oil that penetrates deep into your hair strand to help make your hair shinier, softer, and frizz-free. In addition to this, the oil can also be used on damp hair and will help protect your hair against heat.
How to use Olaplex No. 7:
Step 1: Remove the cap. Turn the bottle upside down and gently tap your index finger on the bottom of the bottle to receive the product.
Step 2: Put a small amount on damp or dry hair.
**Pro tip: Mix in 2 -3 drops of this oil into Olaplex No. 6 for added shine.
How To Use Olaplex No. 8
Olaplex No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask
The newest member of the Olaplex family is the Olaplex No. 8 Intense Moisture Mask. This mask can be used in replacement of your conditioner. To see the best results use this mask once a week. If you really want to step up your hair game, use this mask in combination with Olaplex No.0 and No. 3. Your hair will be shiny, bouncy, and hydrated after using Olaplex No. 0,3, and 8 together.
What is Olaplex No. 8
Olaplex No. 8 is a highly concentrated hair mask that will add shine, smoothness, and body to your hair. This mask will also add back moisture to damaged hair. All hair types will benefit from this mask, especially those who have chemically or color-treated their hair.
How To Use Olaplex No. 8
Step 1: After you have shampooed your hair squeeze the excess water out of your hair.
Step 2: For shoulder-length hair, starts off with one pump. Anyone with longer or thicker hair use two pumps of product.
Step 3: Once you have your product pumped out, start to apply the product to your mid-lengths to ends.
Step 4: Now that the product is applied, go in with a wide-tooth comb and comb through your mid-lengths to ends. This will ensure that the product is properly saturated throughout each hair strand.
Step 5: Leave in the mask for 10 minutes. Then rinse out the mask.
